NEWS: New Languages Now Offered

Next year, James Bowie High School will be offering new languages such as American sign language and latin. The languages will be online and will be taught through video, the language diversity allows many people to communicate.

Commentary: Disney embracing gay acceptance

Disney is supporting their audience by embracing gay acceptance and adding gay characters. The addition of the characters can lead to a lot of controversy but can also inspire a generation of kids.

REVIEWS: AISD doesn't truck around

The AISD nacho food truck located around the bus drop off might not be as good as we seem. The food is affordable however the food such as burgers might not be the best healthy choice for students.

ENTERTAINMENT: Freshman makes time for tech theatre and speech

Many freshman's such as Alyssa Shucker are putting a huge amount of effort and time for tech theatre. She helps with a lot of the behind the scenes such as manage the stage and control the sound.

FEATURE: Woman affected by shooting years later

At 29 years old Susan Nelson was held at gunpoint and injured. Due to the incident Susan Nelson has overcame a lot by going to counseling, and should searching, however she still gets frightened by noises.

SPORTS: Wrestlers place in state

The James Bowie High School wrestling team got ready for state in February 23 and 24. The wrestling team came out with two major wins, first and fifth place.

INDEPTH: Metal stigma

The story focuses on the cause, symptoms and stereotypes of metal illness. Many people don't understand that people hide from metal illness because they are scared that the will be judged, counseling and therapy is always a option.

Third:
1. What is your favorite photo in the entire paper? My favorite photo in the entire photo was the Mental Stigma drawing. 
1A. Why is this your favorite? This was my favorite because its a infographic, not only is it appealing it has additional information that attracts the audience. 

2. What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper? My least favorite photo would have to be the Congressional team dominates competitors. 
2A. Why is this your least favorite? I think the picture is very appealing but it would be nice to actually see a real photo of this amazing people. This is creative though. 

3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun. 
I think I would like to do a movie review. I like the drawing/art that has been done as well as the information. I am interested in that and would like to try to do it someday. 

4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points.
Overall I would rate this a solid 9 for photography because most of the photos or drawings in the issue are creative and are relating to the story however their are some stories that didn't have photos which in my opinion would have made the issue more appealing. The Austin Bombing had great examples and information and was so interesting but maybe a picture would have been a little better. Overall I loved it and keep up the good work.
